For the first time in many years, I took part in a gallery exhibition over the Christmas period. It was a great show, both fun and profitable and it took place in a delightful North Devon venue, The White Moose Gallery in Barnstaple.
I have another gallery exhibition lined up for this Spring at Gallery Nine in Bath, I will be taking part in their Easter exhibition which runs from 12th April until 31st May. Some of you may remember this gallery when it was called St James Gallery, it was one of the very first galleries that I ever supplied, starting in the 1980s and through to the 1990s. I am really looking forward to being a part of their team once more.
My daughter Meriel often works alongside me these days and she will be accompanying me on the annual outing to the gemstone fair, Inhorgenta which takes place in Munich at the end of February. We will be choosing new stones from this hugely exciting (and enormous!) event and it sets the tone for the new designs that we will be working on for the coming year. It is a great opportunity for us to see new cuts and colours of stones, to contact new suppliers and to meet with old friends, suppliers and fellow makers.
On the home front, Nick and I are having a new house built for ourselves on the site of the bungalow where my mother used to live. Over the Summer months we are going to be moving from our splendidly ancient (and massive) early Georgian house into a spanking new, warm and light house with the most spectacular countryside views. I can't believe how lucky we are! You can have a look at the project by clicking here.
Meanwhile, Mango-the-Dog continues to fill our lives with her extra-special brand of doggy-love by sprinkling sparkles on our every day!
